Justin Gambino ist in einem christlichen Elternhaus aufgewachsen und rebellierte in der High School. Wegen eines Diebstahls wurde er mit 18 Jahren verhaftet und ins Militär geschickt. Mit der Navy war er im Irak.
Wieder zuhause kämpfte Gambino mit Depressionen, Wut, posttraumatischen Belastungsstörungen und Verzweiflung. In der Not rief er zu Gott und es kam zu einer Wende. Immer mehr Erlösung, Hoffnung und Sinn waren in seinem Leben und er begann 2015 seine Musikkarriere.
